GlaxoSmithKline – Small bulk vaccine facility, Singapore

The scope of this project includes a grass roots biological facility for the production of bulk vaccines; the first of its kind in Singapore.

Faithful+Gould is the first cost consultant to handle a project of this nature in Singapore. 

The production facility includes two production buildings:

  • Polysaccharides and coupling building
  • One building housing QA/QC laboratories and administration offices.

There is also a warehouse building and a central utilities building, and outside areas for a tank farm storage cooling tower and an electricity sub-station.

The challenge
