Disney Pan European Projects
Project
- Faithful+Gould was appointed under a partnership agreement as one of two project management companies to provide cost and project management services for Disney’s European property portfolio.
- Projects have been carried out in many European countries including Germany, Poland, France and Britain.
- Projects have included major projects for example Disney’s flagship project at Marne la Valee. This project consolidated all of Disney’s European business activities on one campus adjacent to the Euro Disney theme park. At the smaller end of the scale office renovations were carried out throughout Europe similar to the 2000m² office fit out in Munich, Germany. These small projects were carried out extremely quickly.
The approach
- Professionally qualified staff were required to be mobile throughout Europe for these challenging world best practice projects.
- Local knowledge was vital - we our network of local affiliates throughout Europe to add local knowledge to our already experienced teams.
- Project teams were made available throughout Europe to work with the local Disney clients.
The challenge
- A range of projects, from some of the largest in Europe to fast track 5-week refurbishment and fit out projects, were awarded. This demanded a mobile, highly motivated Faithful+Gould team throughout Europe.
- Disney’s management team demanded world class service practice on all of their project commissions.
Outcome
- Approximately two thirds of the Disney European total project commissions were awarded to Faithful+Gould.
- Projects have been successfully completed throughout Europe.
