Faithful+Gould was appointed to provide services to New Look's New Stores Programme in the Republic and Northern Ireland, including project management; cost consultancy; structural engineering, fire safety engineering and design and planning.
The project involved fitting out of retail stores varying between 7,000ft2 to 15,000ft2 over a 9 week programme.
This included:
- Management of the main contractor works, data, electrical and mechanical installations, fixtures and fittings, external and internal signage, direct contractors' works
- Liaison with telecommunications companies and the fire safety consultant, and
- Co-ordinating the landlord's works.
We obtained all statutory approvals, including planning permission, fire safety approval as well as landlord's approvals.
With the in-house technical expertise of Atkins, we provided fire safety and structural engineering services. Our project and cost management approach ensured all critical deadlines were achieved and the project was delivered within the client's key time, cost, quality, health and safety requirements.
