The approach
We became involved in the project when the budget forecasts were not controlled by the service provider tasked with doing so. We brought control to the project, with proper reporting procedures, taking control of some of the contractor accounts and challenging the construction management company.
We provided an independent service, becoming part of Wyeth's team, but were not prejudiced in relating to other service providers.
The challenge
The sheer scale of the project, which employed 2,500 personnel at its peak, was the main challenge to the client.
Benefits
We brought a level of certainty to the client regarding total out turn costs and ensured that all monies paid were justifiable and auditable.
The project is based in a disadvantaged part of Dublin and has provided a certain level of employment opportunities.
