Corporate Responsibility

Through our parent company Atkins, our corporate responsibility strategy and performance is published each year. We also highlight news and developments in the Corporate Responsibility Review section of our annual report.

We are proud of our processes and policies too. We have a dedicated director who looks after any issues at a local level, and a common management structure at CEO level which governs our quality, health and safety and environmental performance. We are committed to delivering excellence to our clients and this is enshrined in our quality policy. Health and safety for our staff is paramount, and we promote a universal safety culture – this is set out in our health and safety policy.

As we advise clients on their environmental performance so our own green standards have to be high. Our environmental and sustainable policy sets out our focus for this, and all our operations around the world are covered by the ISO 14001 environmental standard.

  • Cost of BREEAM in Schools

In 2008 Faithful+Gould undertook research with the BRE Trust to establish the costs of complying with BREEAM in schools. The research was used to help set DCFS (Department for Children, Schools and Families) funding models for programmes such as the Building Schools for the Future. So is the research still relevant?
