Faithful+Gould was appointed by Limitless to act as employers’ representative cost manager for the Downtown Jebel Ali MX buildings, and formed an integral part of the employer team from inception to completion of the project.
Faithful+Gould was appointed for pre- and post-contract commercial services for the MX buildings - a mixed use development consisting of 2 office towers and 2 apartment blocks with a common retail area.
Our scope of services can be summarised as:
- preparation of tender documents
- pre-tender estimates
- tender reports
- cash flows
- assessment of variations and claims
The approach
A 2 stage tender programme was implemented, ensuring the involvement of the main contractors at an early stage of the project. This assisted with the tender and awarding of several major subcontract packages.
Outcome
- Completion is anticipated in early 2010
- The Downtown Jebel Ali infrastructure works are due for completion in late 2010.
