Du Telecommunications headquarters, Dubai

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) is the new telecommunications services provider for the United Arab Emirates and is a semi-government company based all over the UAE.

Having already commenced infrastructure, services and retail operations, du selected Al Salam Tecom Tower for their new corporate headquarters in Dubai.

Faithful+Gould was commissioned to manage the design, fit-out and phased relocation of 23 floors of the 47 storey tower, consisting of:

  • 18 floors providing space for internal support services - up to 2,000 du corporate staff
  • 2 floors of training facilities
  • 1 floor of meeting rooms
  • 1 floor of cafeteria facilities for du personnel
  • 1 executive floor
  • Ground floor for retail and business services

The project process consisted of several stages, from project feasibility through to determining spatial requirements, full concept and detailed design, construction and commissioning. We contributed at each stage of the process.

Due to the small and fledgling in-house client project management and engineering teams, Faithful+Gould was responsible for full programme, project and relocation management, including communications and IT.
