The King Abdulaziz Centre for Knowledge and Culture, Saudi Aramco's 75th anniversary gift to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has been specially designed to create an iconic state-of-the-art facility that will further inspire and promote the knowledge economy, creativity and cross-cultural engagement within Saudi Arabia and the region.

The construction spans over 65,000 square metres and will include:

  • A public library
  • A museum
  • Exhibition halls and facilities
  • A lifelong learning centre
  • A children's learning centre and exhibition
  • An auditorium
  • Cafes and restaurants

Faithful+Gould provided budget estimating and project management for an international design competition to select the architect.

The anticipated completion date is 2012.
