Faithful+Gould is part of the winning team that will build the new National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC)(this is an external link and will open in a new window) in Washington, DC.

The team is a joint venture headed by four architecture firms (Freelon Group, Adjaye Associates, Davis Brody Bond Aedas and Smith Group). Faithful+Gould will provide cost management services to this important national project.

The new museum will be a part of the Smithsonian Institution(this is an external link and will open in a new window), home to 19 museums, 9 research centres and the National Zoo, making it the world's largest museum complex and research organization.

Covering 313,000 feet2 and sited at the National Mall, the NMAAHC will use African American culture as a way to help all Americans see how their stories, histories and cultures are influenced by international considerations, and how this ultimately shapes American history.
