Nestle Pizza Headquarters

In 2010, Nestlé purchased Kraft’s Pizza division.  Nestlé’s newly acquired frozen pizza brands include: DiGiorno, California Pizza Kitchen, Tombstone and Jack’s.  To accommodate the new pizza team, Nestlé had to build a new facility in the Chicago suburbs. 

We provided owner’s representative services for this project, while architectural and engineering services were supplied by HGA from Minneapolis.

The Approach

The project team worked with Nestlé and the design team during the various phases of the project including site selection, design and construction.  The facility houses the offices, test kitchens and a pilot plant for the pizza division.  The 75,0000-square-foot tenant interior space, which was formerly a furniture store, has been designed to accommodate 150 employees. 

The Outcome

The project was successfully completed on December 10, 2010.
