An average day for me at Faithful+Gould is assisting Senior Surveyors, preparation of cost plan, obtaining cost information from various sources – suppliers/manufacturers, BCIS online etc., monthly valuation, liaising with clients and other project members.

I enjoy being entrusted with the responsibility to manage the large amounts of capital involved in a project and I feel job satisfaction from obtaining all the necessary information for the project from different sources and incorporating them into the cost plan/other tasks, and finally to get the job done!

I became interested in Quantity Surveying after helping a friend with an assignment on the subject. My current qualification is BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and I aspire to becoming a Chartered Quantity Surveyor through the Faithful+Gould APC programme.
