School/college leavers
We provide various opportunities to school and college leavers to work and study whilst earning at the same time.
As a school leaver, Faithful+Gould provides sponsorship opportunities to support your higher education via one of our day-release programmes.
You will participate in a highly successful structured trainee development program which will enable you to fast track your progress.
This scheme ensures that you gain a broad range of skills and experience by regularly moving throughout parts of the business to supplement and enhance your studies.
In addition, all trainees have access to a mentor, line manger, a co-coordinator and of course other trainees and experienced professionals who are available to offer guidance and advice along the way.
Year out work placement
If you are studying an undergraduate degree, we provide a commitment to developing professionals within our industry through a year out work placement. Incumbents will gain valuable ‘hands on' experience working on projects, liaising with clients and learning from some of the best people in the industry.
We provide access to in-house training schemes and a mentor to ensure your success throughout the year.
Finally, the year out placement will provide opportunities to work towards your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), with the possibility of gaining future sponsorship and an offer of full time employment following completion of your studies.

Work experience
In addition to this Faithful+Gould also offers a number of short term work experience placements for undergraduates or school leavers. These positions typically take place during summer holidays and will provide you with the opportunity to gain an insight into a career in construction.
