12 Months of Success for Building Surveying Team

Our North West division has increased its building surveying team from four to 11, having relocated to Manchester from the Altrincham office only 12 months ago.

Despite the current financial climate, the building surveying team has capitalised on a number of regional and national opportunities including projects for Barclays, the RBS, Royal Mail, the Home Office and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, offering full project and professional building surveying services including small works design, contract administration, dilapidation services, and building surveys.

Leading the building surveying team is newly-appointed Senior Building Surveyor, Darren Kibble BSc Hons MSc MRICS.

Darren joins Faithful+Gould from Knight Frank LLP and has over nine years' experience, working in a variety of sectors including retail, residential, social housing, commercial, industrial and public sector.

Darren comments: “With environmental considerations now high on the building agenda, increased emphasis has been put on the sustainable structure of a property, making the role of the building surveyor more crucial then ever”.

“The growth of the team has become even more prevalent due to the effect current economic conditions have on the need for building surveying services. Unlike many areas of the industry, our role often becomes a higher client priority in order for them to obtain the best value from their existing property portfolios, with a greater emphasise on repair and renovate rather than relocation.”

“I am delighted to be joining a team which has a proven track record in the marketplace and I am really looking forward to playing an important part in growing the business in the North West.”
