EDF awards Faithful+Gould contract to support UK Nuclear New Build project

EDF Energy(this is an external link and will open in a new window) has awarded Faithful+Gould a professional services consultancy agreement to support its UK Nuclear New Build project.

The initial 3 year deal will see Faithful+Gould providing quantity surveyor and contract management support in the areas of procurement and contract management.

EDF logo The contract value is worth in the region of £3million over the initial contract period.

Alan Cumming, EDF Energy's Deputy Director of Procurement, Construction Project controls New Nuclear Build, said:

"We're delighted to be bringing Faithful+Gould on board. This is a strategic long term consultancy agreement which will see Faithful+Gould providing crucial support to our procurement and contract management team.

"Procurement is one the cornerstones of any large scale development. The support Faithful+Gould provides will play a large role in its delivery."
