Faithful+Gould Expands London Presence into Canary Wharf
Faithful+Gould, part of the Atkins group of companies, will become the first cost and project management consultancy to join the expanding business district of Canary Wharf, after signing a five-year lease-hold deal at the start of 2007.
Faithful+Gould will occupy space on the 28th floor of One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, placing the group in the heart of a growing financial environment alongside KPMG, Bank of New York, Credit Suisse and Barclays.
The strategic expansion will enhance Faithful+Gould’s London reach, putting the company in close proximity to current and potential banking and finance clients. The new office will encompass 2,500 ft² and will have a combination of both quantity surveyors and project managers working from it.
Ian Metcalfe, Faithful+Gould’s London Director of the South East offices says: “Supporting our strategic growth objectives, the expansion to Canary Wharf is an exciting venture for Faithful+Gould. The new office places us at the heart of current and prospective clients, encouraging a flexible/neighbourly working relationship.”
In line with the company’s five year plan, the move supports continued staff growth; numbers in the South East offices have increased by 14% in the last year alone, with nearly 50 people having been recruited to the area since the start of this financial year.
The move reflects Faithful+Gould’s recent successes in the financial sector and their determination to interact further with their clients. A proven track record in the management of commercial office fit-outs, disaster recovery centres and most recently, data centres has prompted the company to move closer to key clients, in order to provide the most efficient and responsive service possible.
Reflecting Faithful+Gould’s growth, the company has an international network of offices throughout the UK, USA, Middle East and Asia Pacific. The company has a dedicated consultancy which helps develop clients’ major projects in the transport, property and industry sectors.
Clients using Canada Square can expect Faithful+Gould’s ‘constructive expertise’ from their sector/service specialists; providing a combination of expert advice and access to key systems and resources. Placing Faithful+Gould on the doorstep of their clients, the new office will clearly support the Thames Gateway Redevelopment and the continual growth of the Docklands area.
