Cost and contract management services in connection with the national Foot and Mouth Disease outbreak.
The approach
- A national service provision involving all of Faithful+Gould’s cluster offices.
- Provision of a range of services including cost management, building surveying and claims/contract consultancy.
The challenge
- Provision of the required resource in an emergency situation, peaking at over 50 staff.
- Management of an immature supply chain.
Outcome
- Value management of expenditure on the outbreak and assistance with auditing requirements for Government and the European Union.
- Construction of a sound supply chain for future animal health emergencies.
