Project
- Joint venture initiative between Muse Developments and Taylor Wimpy to carry out the major realignment of the existing transport and river infrastructure to facilitate the regeneration of the area
- Mixed use scheme incorporating upto 800 Residential units and 28,000m² Commercial and Education with major road and river infrastructure works
- Arup Associates are leading the master plan, with Peter Brett Associates providing Transport & Highway support with planning guidance given by RPS Consultants

The Approach
- The provision of Commercial Services supporting the Clients Planning Application and Financial Appraisal
- Utilising resource from across the group including Transport & Infrastructure, Services Engineers and Building expertise to provide a co-ordinated service delivery
The Challenge
- Situated on the site of the existing roundabout and transport hub, requiring the transport infrastructure to be maintained operational at all times
- Major infrastructure realignment to the existing transport node and river systems, integrating the construction of commercial areas incorporating Retail, Offices, Education and a Cinema complex
Outcome
- Cost management applied for a high rise development, consisting of 6 towers providing up to 800 high quality residential apartments
- A basement below the site area provides parking for up to 500 cars and a servicing strategy for the commercial areas
- Provision for public realm with the Confluence Park on the banks of the re aligned river – The Park being one of the Mayor of London’s new ‘100 Places for London’
