Our client is a global biopharmaceutical company headquartered in London who operates in over 100 countries. They discover, develop, manufacture and market prescription medicines to improve healthcare.
We have supported their ongoing capital programme for over 30 years. Our personnel have been at the heart of establishing an alliance approach and have played the leading commercial role on their projects. Our activities have included supplying drafting project charters, chain cost audits, target cost negotiations and continuous improvement workshops.
We have provided cost engineering, change control, estimating and benchmark data to support a rolling capital investment programme of new research and development, manufacturing and corporate facilities under a partner / framework alliance arrangement.
The relationship has involved adopting different commercial approaches to the management of projects from traditional bills of quantities to leading edge alliancing.
Our resources have been seconded to the client and have added value by working closely with their project managers, construction managers and the project control team. In addition, we have provided experienced professionals who have contributed to the success of the projects and managed transitions and fluctuations in the client’s workload.
We continue to monitor and challenge the delivery of projects through regular performance reviews and we actively participate in improvement workshops.
We have delivered all capital projects on budget / programme and continue to support our client with their capital programme.
