Gas Storage
We manage complete projects from pre-feasibility stages, advise on appropriate engineering and procurement options, and manage installation and commissioning.
Our experience
We have been involved in the development of all of the LNG and former British Gas storage sites in the UK. We have also provided project and commercial management support for the development of major underground salt cavity storage projects.
The Isle of Grain site in Kent has been developed as one of the UK's strategic LNG importation terminals. Faithful+Gould was responsible for the management of feasibility studies, as well as the procurement of the conceptual design phases and the procurement and management of the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contractor.
We advised on the Aquila Hole House and Scottish and Southern Energy Aldbrough facilities. Services included estimate and programme verification, quantitative risk analysis and preparation of tender documentation for the management contractor.
