Our experience

Our experience includes projects in India, China, Zambia, South Africa, Romania and the UK, mining coal, salt, potash, copper, zinc, lead, gypsum, gold and silver. It embraces shaft sinking, deepening, relining and reconstruction, back ripping operational roadways, mine bottom roadways, strata and mechanical bunkers, pump lodges, engine houses and cross measure drifts.

These projects have involved tunnel boring machines, single and twin boom road headers and drill and blast methods.

Projects we have worked on include:

• TVX Hellas Olympias project, Greece - provision of contract procurement services for a dual technology process plant.
• Lisheen Mine, Ireland - contract procurement, contract administration and cost engineering services. We advised on the underground crushing and conveying system and the interface to the surface stockpile.
• Selby Coalfield, UK - we provided cost estimating, contract procurement and cost management services for some 12km of underground conveyor. Selby Coalfield was one of the largest deep mining projects ever undertaken in the world.
