The aviation sector is one of Faithful+Gould's key market areas. We have gained major project experience at the main airports across the globe and have played a lead role in the development of Heathrow's Terminal5.

Our experience covers airside/landside infrastructure, baggage handling, major termini, terminal refurbishment and extensions, piers, people movers, major infrastructure, runways and apron works, surface access, airport systems, aircraft maintenance facilities, fuelling facilities, non-operational property.

We have a wealth of experience in the building of motorways and urban highways. Our activities cover all aspects of carriageway construction and maintenance for government agencies and contractors.

Our involvement in the light rapid transit sector includes:

Providing contract and procurement advice relating to the delivery of rail infrastructure, advising on the commercial aspects of route planning and rail vehicle selection, providing commercial support at concession company level, working with public sector clients during implementation and on a range of metro systems, preparing high level capital cost estimates for trackwork, signalling, transmission power, civil engineering and station facilities. Our cost models have been used to establish optimum route alignment.

We provide commercial advice relating to dock infrast ructure and sea defence works. This includes Ro–Ro and passenger ship  terminals, container facilities, warehousing, railway infrastructure and road tunnels. We also provide cost and commercial management including cost planning, contract and procurement advice, project controls and post contract administration. We can work as part of a multi-functional team or provide independent commercial advice. Our clients include Port Authorities, Government agencies and contractors for whom we provide a large range of project delivery and asset management services.

Faithful+Gould has a long history of involvement in the rail sector. We have experience delivering rail infrastructure, stations and train care facilities.

Rail Infrastructure: We’ve been involved in track remodelling and renewals, signalling, electrification, telecommunications, structures, stations and depots. 

Property: We have been extensively involved in major station enhancement schemes, the delivery of multi-modal interchanges and major transportation hubs, providing commercial support throughout the feasibility, design development and procurement phases.
