A powerful joint venture partnership comprising of Faithful+Gould, Arcadis, Bilfinger GVA and Grant Thornton has been formed to bid for work on the latest Scape Group framework.

The joint venture (JV), called Built Environment Consultancy Services Partnership Limited (BE.CSPL), brings together world class partners to cover all 10 core services and 16 key sectors to offer Scape a full end-to-end service.

With four world class consultancies in Faithful+Gould, Arcadis, and Grant Thornton bringing a strategic approach and Bilfinger GVA providing commercial surveying services, the JV will act as a catalyst for Scape’s growth, enabling it to develop its offering and make it the de facto framework.

The BE.CSPL members have worked with 98% of all government clients and have a Tier 1 supply chain comprising of more than half of the top 20 construction and property consultancies. This is supported by an extensive supply chain of 350 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), over 90% of which are delivering locally, within 35 miles of the client.

Faithful+Gould was successful in marketing and delivering the previous framework so that it hit the framework limit in three years. The JV brings in a new model with a new management team and will be a transformational move for the construction industry in meeting the funding and servicing challenges, enabling government clients to deliver on their strategy and commitments at a time when budgets and resources are under extreme pressure.
