On October 12, 2011, the Association of Wall-Ceiling & Carpentry Industries of New York, Inc., sponsored “New York Development Update,” a special presentation by New York owners’ representatives on new development and construction projects throughout the region, geared toward construction and design professionals. In the wake of the economic recession, New York’s development leaders discussed their current projects and what’s on the horizon.
“These industry forums provide Faithful+Gould with an opportunity to illustrate the breath of market sector involvement and the range of the project services we can provide,” said Ron Agababian, business development manager for Faithful+Gould.
Speakers at the event included Faithful+Gould Vice President of Project and Program Development Chris Baxter. With seventeen years of experience, Chris has held key roles on numerous landmark projects and multi-project programs in New York. From early planning through to construction and commissioning, he has applied his program management service expertise across a range of sectors.
Kenneth Levien, president and founder of Levien & Company, also spoke at the event. Kenneth brings more than 30 years of experience in project management, construction monitoring, physical assessment, architecture and business management to the firm, which he founded in January of 1992.
The event was moderated by Sara Rubinstein, associate counsel for the Americas region of Lend Lease (formerly Bovis Lend Lease).
