About the event
The GEAPS Exchange is an annual conference putting a focus on the Grain Export and Agriculture industries. The conference includes an exhibit hall with nearly 400 exhibitors and more than 40 hours of educational and networking events with some of the key players in the agribusiness sector. This year, Faithful+Gould will be exhibiting in booth 913. Business Development Manager Greg Franzen will also be presenting an educational program entitled “Partnering in the Process: Effectively Managing a Construction Project” on Monday, March 26 at 4:30 p.m. in Convention Center Room 201 / 203.
The process of project management is imperative to the success of construction in the grain handling and processing industry. Partnering- construction project teambuilding- is the process of aligning the goals and expectations of all construction project stakeholders with the requirements of the project. The formation of team relationships and the alignment of scope, schedule and budget are foundational to a successful project outcome. The partnering process gives all stakeholders the opportunity to understand the owner's goals as well as the perspectives, needs and ideas of all key project team members. This presentation will introduce the basic partnering process and will review the characteristics of high performing teams. Attendees will also learn the purpose and content of a partnering meeting, and discover the components necessary for a team to succeed.
