About the event
On June 15, 2017, Vice President and New York Office Managing Director Michael Debiak will join industry colleagues to moderate a panel at the “Planes, Trains and Urban Infrastructure” event with the Commercial Observer in New York. The event is part of the 2017 Design & Construction Conference series that will highlight the current construction boom resulting from the need of New York and the surrounding areas for modern and expanded transportation infrastructure and modernized airports.
Michael will moderate a panel entitled “NYC’s Waterfronts – Newly Modernized Piers, Ports and Water Transportation”. The panel will discuss how the landscape of New York waterfronts are changing and various capital programs that are underway and upcoming. He will be joined by Giuliana Benedicty, Hunter Robers; Greg Clancy, RXR; George Giaquinto, Howard Hughes; Richard Cote, NYCEDC and Michael Samuelian, Governors Island Trust.

Michael Debiak has more than 35 years of experience in the construction industry, providing program and project management, capital program oversight, and risk management on projects throughout the Northeastern United States, including the MTA Independent Engineering Consultant for capital projects, Port Authority of NY & NJ PMO and Goethals Bridge (P3), Mayor’s Office for Recovery and Resiliency and NJ Transit’s Super Storm Sandy Recovery Program.
