Senior Vice President Tim Horner, FRICS, will join industry colleagues in Chicago for the 5th annual RICS Summit of the Americas. This annual event provides a platform for global decision-makers from across the region to address critical topics in the real estate, facilities management, business valuation and construction industries. The summit will run from May 1, 2017 – May 2, 2017 and will include workshops and market-leading discussions across a variety of trending topics in the industry.
Tim is speaking on May 2nd at 14:00 – 15:30 as part of Workshop B: Quantity surveying — Preparing for a changing role in North America.
On May 2, 2017, Tim will speak on a panel entitled “Quantity Surveying: Preparing for a Changing Role in North America. The panel will discuss how quantity surveying is growing as a discipline in the United States’ construction industry and how RICS and QS firms in North America can work together to promote that growth. He will be joined by Mark Fergus, Cumming Corporation; Alex Freeman, Exactal; Nicholas Butcher, MGAC; Alexia Nalewaik, Requin Corporation and Paul Hughes, Altus Group.
Tim Horner is a RICS Fellow and has a 30-year career in international construction, focused on major corporations providing advice on project and portfolio management, management of change, project controls, supply chain rationalization and performance contracts. He is currently responsible Faithful+Gould’s worldwide Oil & Gas sector.
