Faithful+Gould has been awarded a project management contract on the Battlefield Health & Trauma (BHT) Research Center in San Antonio, Texas. Our participation in the program management office is as the Deputy Program Manager, with two additional scheduler positions. The Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Joint Center of Excellence for BHT research center will integrate all of the combat casualty care research missions and functions from each service into a multi-faceted synergistic research center with a clinical foundation.
The BHT Center will be the only DoD Level One trauma facility and burn center with strong support from the civilian community and continued collaboration with the University Health System. Under the BRAC scenario, various DoD research programs will consolidate with the Institute of Surgical Research (ISR) located adjacent to Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) on the North Campus of the San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) where we are operating a project management office for TEAM Integrated Engineering, Inc. We will provide the following services: Project controls, cost management, risk management, schedule management.
This project is currently being completed. The BHT Center will leverage synergy of clinical care and research activity to provide a powerful platform for excellence in battlefield health. This project is required to support new biomedical research laboratories, vivarium, administrative and support space. BHT will also support the establishment of the DoD Medical Joint Center of Excellence that will include:

- Walter Reed Army Institute of Research Combat Casualty Care
- Naval Medical Research Center Combat Casualty Care
