Faithful+Gould has a strong reputation providing constructive expertise on a variety of infrastructure projects, including clean and wastewater assets, roads, bridges, dams, navigable waterways and transportation.
San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) recently selected Faithful+Gould to provide services on its Dashboard Needs Assessment and Alternative Design Development project.
Faithful+Gould assembled staff from multiple offices to take SFPUC through our suggested approach to implement a dashboard solution. During initial scope conversations, we advised SFPUC to work with their program manager to focus on a client needs assessment rather than move forward with a proprietary Project Management Information System (PMIS).
Over the next six months, Faithful+Gould’s staff will conduct a client needs assessment through a series of workshops and interviews. The results will be captured in a requirement traceability matrix and multiple alternatives will be identified. We will then conduct due diligence on the top alternatives to determine a business case for each. From there, SFPUC will select the best alternative suited to their needs. Our staff will also oversee the functional specification and will ensure it meets the original scope that SFPUC selected.
