Donald Lawson, Faithful+Gould’s global chief executive, welcomed over 100 guests to the party held at the Tower Club in central Singapore. Attendees included guests from the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore, the British High Commission, the Economic Development Board and clients such as GlaxoSmithKline and Merck.
During our 25 years in Asia we have worked on some of Asia’s most high profile projects such as REC’s worldscale integrated solar manufacturing complex, DOW Chemical’s research & technology centre, Shell Eastern Petroleum’s largest fully-integrated refinery and petrochemicals hub and the Singapore Sports Hub.
"Since 1988, when we opened our first office, we’ve worked with clients such as Abbott, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Renewable Energy Corporation (REC), Merck and HSBC on some of the most prestigious building projects around."
Bill Bottomley, Faithful+Gould's Managing Director - Asia Pacific
With our offices now spread across Asia in Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and Vietnam, the newly expanded premises in Singapore will help us continue our recent strong growth. Increased client demand will hopefully see our network of offices in Asia grow even further over the next few years, particularly as our parent company Atkins, one of the world’s leading design and engineering consultancies, will also be looking to further expand across the region. Next year Atkins will be celebrating its 40th anniversary of operating in the region.
Bill Bottomley, Faithful+Gould’s Asia Pacific managing director, said: “We’re extremely proud to be celebrating our 25th anniversary of working in Asia. Since 1988, when we opened our first office, we’ve worked with clients such as Abbott, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Renewable Energy Corporation (REC), Merck and HSBC on some of the most prestigious building projects around. We are justifiably proud of what we’ve achieved and how we have helped our clients. The new offices will enable us to further expand and continue to deliver world class construction project and cost management consultancy to more and more clients across Asia and the world.”
