Faithful+Gould Announces New Leadership in South East Asia

Effective 15 November 2017, René Hillig is appointed Director - South East Asia to advance the Faithful+Gould business and our key account management strategy across the region.

René is a long serving senior member of Faithful+Gould Singapore and is well regarded in the industry for his leadership, key account management and excellence in project delivery.

A Singapore resident of 25 years, René has led multiple large-scale programs and commissions in South East Asia and the wider Asia Pacific region for Faithful+Gould’s international clients such as Allianz, BlackRock, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Equinix, General Electric, GlaxoSmithKline, Roche, Telstra and many others.  His previous experience includes major projects across the property and infrastructure sectors including the MRT North East Line in Singapore, London Underground in the UK, onshore projects for Westport in Port Klang, Malaysia, the Petronas/KLCC vehicular tunnel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as well as the program management of several masterplans such as the 390-hectare Al Ain Oasis Masterplan.

Departing Director - South East Asia, Rick Hancock will be leaving the Faithful+Gould business and relocating to the Middle East in Q1 2018.  Callum continues, "I would like to thank Rick for his years of commitment and contribution to Faithful+Gould.  He has been a key member of the company and played a pivotal role in supporting the transition and integration of the former Confluence business into Faithful+Gould.  We wish Rick well in his future endeavours."

In Rene’s new role, the South East Asia business units of Project Management, Industry, Strategic Asset Management and Commercial Management will report to him, and he will continue to act as the Corporate Real Estate Sector leader for Asia Pacific.
