Faithful+Gould delivered the complete renovation of the InterContinental Hong Kong's Michelin-starred Yan Toh Heen restaurant. The project involved a contemporary redesign of the 400-square-metre space, infused with elegant Chinese interiors by Hong-Kong based designer Chhada Siembieda Leung.
...its transformation garnered positive reviews, upholding its prestige as one of the world's finest Chinese restaurants specialising in Cantonese cuisine.
Our scope of works entailed design management, planning, consultant management, stakeholder coordination, contract administration, site supervision and cost management.
A number of long lead items had to be procured and coordinated well in advance of the construction period including a wine display fridge, an onyx bird cage feature and mother of pearl feature ceiling.
Our team managed the fast track programme to enable refurbishment works to be carried out within a two-month construction period with minimal disruption to the hotel guests. Yan Toh Heen was elevated to two Michelin stars, and its transformation garnered positive reviews, upholding its prestige as one of the world's finest Chinese restaurants specialising in Cantonese cuisine.
