Johan Hesselsøe has been appointed as Faithful+Gould's Managing Director for its 500 people-strong Middle East and Africa division

Johan has been in the Middle East region for over 12 years, most recently as Managing Director of Atkins Acuity, the advisory arm of *Atkins, where he successfully grew the business. Prior to joining Atkins, he held a number of regional and global leadership roles with McKinsey & Co.

With a strong background in strategic leadership and management consulting, Johan is positioned to help reshape the F+G business to capitalise on the current regional trends and changing client expectations across the region.

Johan’s appointment will ensure the consultancy remains in the best possible position to deliver strong and consistent growth. He will be responsible for developing the company’s business in the Middle East and Africa and positioning Faithful+Gould to make the most of the strategic opportunities available in the key market of Saudi Arabia, as well the UAE, Oman, Qatar and Africa.

Based in Faithful+Gould’s Dubai office, Johan said: “This is a great opportunity for me to help further develop the Faithful+Gould business at a time when we can make a real difference to ensure major projects in the region are delivered on time and to budget. Our challenge today is about helping clients with the next phase in the region’s transformation, and how core project and programme management capabilities can best be deployed to add value to our clients.”

* Atkins and Faithful+Gould are members of the SNC-Lavalin Group.
