Nakheel – Development of Facilities Management Procedures, Dubai

Nakheel, being one of the premier developers in Dubai, manage an exciting and diverse range of assets and facilities. Faithful+Gould was commissioned by Nakheel to assist them in developing robust Facilities Management (FM) policies and procedures. Faithful+Gould completed a business review from which we were able to develop a full suite of documentation and systems which became embedded within Nakheel FM. The review and subsequent documentation production took place over 6 months, which gave Faithful+Gould the opportunity to produce highly tailored results that directly influenced how Nakheel operate within their FM division.

The approach was to understand how the client operates and the services they provide across a wide-ranging property portfolio. To develop management procedures for use throughout the business, incorporating best practice from within the industry and around the world.

The challenge was to integrate the new procedures into the business, and ensure the users of the procedures understand the processes and revise their operating regimes across their rapidly expanding portfolio to underpin the procedures.

The outcome was a range of procedures, with flow charts and written instructions, which gives the client a clear direction and focus for managing their business within an agreed framework.
