Project and cost management consultant Faithful+Gould has appointed Andrew Constable, FRICS as national education sector head, with responsibility for co-ordinating and further developing the company’s activities across primary, secondary and higher education markets.
Andrew is the Faithful+Gould director responsible for the company’s Tunbridge Wells office, which has been very active in the sector in recent years.
After originally training with quantity surveyors Beard, Dove & Partners, Andrew jointed Yeoman & Edwards in 1982, achieving progressive promotion and becoming a partner in 1995. Four years later the business was acquired by Faithful+Gould and Andrew Constable was appointed a director.
He explains "We have an extensive track record in education construction, with current projects including, for example, advising on special educational needs schools for Kent County Council and major developments for Imperial College and Cambridge University. The extent of planned investment in the sector over the coming years has led to the decision to provide a dedicated resource within our team."
