Faithful+Gould has received a strategic boost with the relocation of Chris Taylor, director and sector leader for utilities, refining and chemicals.

The Stockton office of international project management and cost consultants Faithful+Gould has received a strategic boost with the relocation of Chris Taylor, director and sector leader for utilities, refining and chemicals, from its San Francisco office in the United States of America (USA) where he had responsibility for biotech and pharmaceuticals nationwide.

The move further strengthens Chris' relationship with Teesside based director George Murray with whom he has fostered a working relationship spanning more than 20 years.

With over 25 years' experience Chris possesses an unparalleled insight into commercial and project management with major industrial clients in the UK, including a 13 year stint working in the USA.

Having started his career in the Stockton office, Chris' move back to the North East has seen him take up a pivotal role that provides leadership with specific regard to his industry sectors. His new role will see him building upon Faithful+Gould’s enviable reputation of supporting high profile schemes in global locations. Chris also has responsibility for business development and account management.

Chris said, "My new role involves growing our service base globally with a focus on European based major oil companies and nationally with UK based utilities companies. In addition, I am introducing a whole range of new industrial and manufacturing clients such as Amgen and Genentech and will be recruiting a number of staff to service these opportunities. Faithful+Gould responds extremely well in high pressure and cutting-edge markets and there is a huge opportunity for us to further expand our operations in the US. The services Faithful+Gould offers are comparatively new within this market and we are really just scratching the surface of what we could potentially achieve. It is certainly a very exciting time to join the Stockton team!"

Commenting on Chris' appointment George Murray, said: "I am absolutely delighted to have Chris back in Stockton. His move back to the UK is highly significant for us and only serves to strengthen our ambitions to further develop the business in areas such as utilities, refining and chemicals. He brings with him significant experience of business development and is already making a tangible difference to our strategic goals."
