Faithful &Gould was appointed directly by Tynedale Housing, a not for profit local housing company, on the £1.5 million scheme. Faithful+Gould will be responsible for advising its client on the technical aspects of the move as well as liaising with the developer, Design Matters Ltd, to ensure the specification and fit out works comply with requirements and will also be responsible for monitoring all works on site.
Martin Round, director commented, "We are delighted to be working with Tynedale Housing again. Work is well underway on the scheme and we are looking to complete by September as scheduled. This is an exciting time for the company and we are glad to be of assistance - helping to ensure a smooth move into its new premises."
This coincides with the Company’s name change to Milecastle Housing - a move which will improve its service to tenants and further reinforce the Company’s new and separate identity as a Registered Social Landlord.
Bill Tebay, director of operations at Milecastle Housing said "We have developed a strong relationship with Faithful+Gould over the past four years. The team is highly experienced in the social housing sector and has provided valuable advice to us. “This move will not only initiate the start of our new identity – Milecastle Housing – but will also allow the team to become more integrated. At the moment the offices are dispersed within Hexham but by locating us together under one roof we will enhance internal communications greatly and subsequently improve our service to tenants – our number one priority."
