Faithful+Gould Appoint Seven New Staff

Faithful+Gould has received a boost with the appointment of seven new staff to its Teesside office.

The North East offices of international project management and cost consultants Faithful+Gould, has received a boost with the appointment of seven new staff.

Anna Jaworska joins the Teesside office as a graduate quantity surveyor. Anna, who is fluent in both Polish and Spanish, has already started work on auditing contacts on a BP refinery in Coryton Essex.

Andrew Donaldson, from Northumbria University, is the latest addition to the utilities department. Taking on the role as an assistant quantity surveyor his remit includes checking and agreeing target costs and close outs.

Trainee quantity surveyor Graeme Wilson has joined from Durham High School after completing his A Levels. Hoping to complete a degree and obtain chartered status with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Graeme’s current role sees him assisting qualified senior quantity surveyors in their day to day tasks.

Taking up the same role, Anthony Smyth joins the property department as trainee quantity surveyor, where he is assisting on the £17.3 million Bishop Auckland College project to construct a new three storey educational facility.

Further boosting the property department are David Easton and Steven Horn who both take on the role of student quantity surveyor. Undertaking their student year placements, David will be assisting the senior quantity surveyors with tasks such as cost checking, measurement and auditing, whereas Steven’s placement will see him valuing works and appraising tenders for senior staff.

Christine White is the latest addition to the Newcastle team. As office manager her new role sees her undertaking PA duties for director Martin Round, regional director Mike Foggon and Bob Lawrence, the North East’s executive consultant. Christine brings with her a wealth of experience of running and supporting a professional and efficient office.

Commenting on the new appointments, Director George Murray added, "I am delighted to welcome all our newcomers. They will strengthen and enhance our expertise base and will enable us to continue to provide an excellent level of service to clients. These appointments further emphasise our continued growth and dedication to creating jobs within the North East."
