Last night SNC-Lavalin's Faithful+Gould business won Consultancy of the Year at the Education Buildings Scotland Awards for their outstanding contribution to the education sector.

This year has been fantastic for Faithful+Gould and our clients as we continue to provide outstanding programme management, project management, cost management, building surveying, health and safety and strategic asset management in the education sector.

We worked on the pilot study with the Scottish Government on their early years blueprint for 2020, delivered 5000+ Scottish schools places and are working with 10 of Scotland’s Universities with a combined capital value of £2bn+.

By taking learning and innovation gained from other sectors and commissions we have shared them with the education sector community, raising standards of safety, quality and value for money.

Stewart Macleod, Director at SNC-Lavalin's Faithful+Gould business commented, “To win the Education Consultancy of the year accolade is a true testament to our Scottish offices commitment to drive innovation and value for our clients and the sector. It gives worthy recognition to the strength and commitment of the team, and the exciting client work we are involved with. It is wonderful that our efforts have been recognised.”

Our experience in the education sector extends through schools at all ages, in addition to our market leading position in the higher education sector, advising universities across Scotland and the UK.

Our experience spans across teaching spaces, libraries, administration offices and student residence. We help our clients evolve their assets to better support teaching and learning, applying commercial and technical skills to deliver efficiently.

We create an effective interface between operational and estate goals, working with clients to understand their needs, driving innovation, excellence and best value through design, procurement and construction. Our clients experience better results, in teaching outcomes, capital investment and maintenance programmes, and we make their budgets stretch further.
