Businessmen from across Bristol and the West came together to raise a glass and to raise cash for charity.

More than 200 business people attended an evening of European Beer Tasting staged jointly by sister -companies project and cost management consultants Faithful+Gould and commercial property agents Lambert Smith Hampton.

More than £500 was raised for the BABE appeal for Children’s Hospice South West.

The annual event was staged in the Great Hall at Bristol Grammar School, and guests were invited to taste a number of beers and ales from as far afield as Russia and Poland by Mike Phipps, Bursar at Bristol University, who compered the evening.

Director Jon Sealy said: "It was a great evening that gave us a chance to meet many of our clients and other business people in the area, raise some money for charity and also launch Faithful+Gould’s new identity which has just been introduced across the world."

Faithful+Gould was formed in Bristol over 50 years ago. It is one of the world’s largest project and cost management consultancies and one of the largest specialist consultancies in the UK. Its regional office is at Aztec West.
