Faithful+Gould Renews its Investors in People Accolade

Jo Robson
Faithful+Gould has successfully renewed its accolade with Investors in People. The award was originally awarded in 2004 and has been successfully maintained ever since.

The award provides a national benchmark for recognising a high standard of commitment to training and development of all members of staff, in order to help achieve personal and business goals. This training and development is fully engrained in our learning and development policy and at the heart of our brand promise ‘Constructive Expertise’. We recognise the valuable contribution that our employees make to our business success and are fully committed to the principles of Investors in People.

To support this, we have set the following objectives:

  • To make a public commitment from the top to develop all employees in order to achieve the Faithful+Gould business objectives

  • To regularly review the training and development needs of all employees

  • To take action to train and develop individuals, upon recruitment and throughout their employment

  • To evaluate the investment in training and development to assess achievement and improve future effectiveness

Continuing achievement of the standard is testament that we really do value our people and support career development at all levels.

Mark Donlan, Faithful+Gould's HR Business Partner

Mark Donlan, human resources business partner, commented on the success, "I am delighted that we have once again been accredited to the Investors in People Standard. Continuing achievement of the standard is testament that we really do value our people and support career development at all levels. The re-accreditation process saw nearly 75 employees being interviewed by an external assessor about their employment experience in the business. Being accredited by Investors in People not only supports our employee’s objectives but our client’s aspirations, as they are able to tap in to increasing skills and expertise."
