Faithful+Gould recently created a nationwide regeneration team headed by David Pick to deliver its range of regeneration services, which include funding expertise, strategic project management, risk management and value management.
The company is sponsoring and organising the BURA conference study visit to Castlegate Park, where a refuse dump, sports ground and scrap yard have been turned into a thriving mixed-use development which is acknowledged as a regeneration success story in the region.
Faithful+Gould will make a presentation about the site’s regeneration in a multi-screen cinema which has been constructed on the site.
David Pick commented, "The BURA conference is an important stage upon which Faithful+Gould can demonstrate its regeneration expertise, including tremendous insight into what matters to local people, how to attract funding to make schemes financially viable, how to maximise urban assets and how to get the design and quality right."
The company’s regeneration expertise includes involvement in major schemes such as Sunderland arc, Birmingham’s Brindleyplace, the London Olympics 2012 bid, 1 Piccadilly in Manchester, City Island in Leeds and Newcastle’s Trinity Gardens.
