Hannah Davis Appointed to the RICS Strategic FM Board

April Constable
Following her success as 2015 Women of the Future Award for Real Estate, Infrastructure and Construction, Hannah Davis, associate director, has been appointed to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Strategic Facilities Management (FM) board.

A key part of Hannah's role and that of other members of the board is to promote the strategic FM service and help organisations better understand their needs and requirements. Hannah will support the RICS through various working groups looking at standards, training and public relations.

Hannah's first major commitment since her appointment will be to speak at the RICS Strategic Facilities Management Conference later this month. She will be showcasing the 'FM Maturity Matrix', a self-assessment tool designed to help organisations understand where they are in terms of their FM maturity – and the next steps they should be thinking about. The tool is expected to be launched later this year.

"Hannah's appointment is a great opportunity for her to positively influence how the FM industry develops."

Dan Weiss, Faithful+Gould Director

Speaking about Hannah's appointment, Dan Weiss, director, said: "Hannah's appointment is a great opportunity for her to positively influence how the FM industry develops. We are excited about supporting the RICS focus on the strategic potential of FM and hopefully our 'FM Maturity Matrix' will be a useful tool in helping organisations look at their FM arrangements and identify where improvements can be made."

Hannah also sits on the RICS editorial advisory group and will be a panellist at the RICS Diversity Conference.
