Faithful+Gould Host 70th Anniversary Charity Ball

Faithful+Gould has been celebrating its 70th Anniversary by giving back, and to mark the momentous occasion earlier this year we launched 704SE7ENTY, an initiative to raise £70,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

From very modest beginnings, Faithful+Gould was founded in Bristol in 1947 and started as a four-man quantity surveying business. 70 years on and Faithful+Gould is an integrated project and programme management consultancy with over 2,400 staff worldwide and a UK & Europe operation covering 26 offices over seven countries.  It's fair to say that Faithful+Gould has been on a truly evolutionary journey.

In recognition of this achievement and to celebrate the anniversary, Faithful+Gould’s Bristol office hosted a charity ball last Thursday evening at the iconic MShed in Central Bristol. Staff, clients, family and friends came together from all over the UK to celebrate the wonderful occasion.

Throughout the evening guests feasted on a sumptuous three course meal, danced the night away to a fantastic live band and enjoyed the stunning backdrop of Bristol City Docks. Over £5,000 was raised on the night from generous donations made to take part in the competition, raffle, sweet cart and photo booth, which allowed guests to recreate an original photo of the four Faithful+Gould pioneers.

We were delighted that Laura Hewitt, a local representatives from the Alzheimer’s Society, was able to join us for the evening and we presented a cheque to the charity for over £61,000, which is the total amount of monies raised to date.

Fund raising will continue until the end of the year with the hope that we will achieve our original £70,000 target.

Faithful+Gould Bristol office Director Chris Haines said “It was fantastic to see so many staff, clients and their guests from across the country coming together to help us celebrate this momentous occasion and to raise money for a charity which means so much to so many people.”
