Faithful+Gould Launches Its Second Series of IOSH Approved Training Courses

Danielle Wynn
Following the success of the first IOSH training course, Faithful+Gould launches a series of IOSH courses at various locations around the country. The course is titled "Principal Designer: Design Risk Management."

Approved trainers Dave Jackson, Nattasha Freeman & Sam Fisher will be taking new candidates on a journey, clarifying the legal requirements of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015, and demystifying the duties of the principal designer against that of a CDM and the requirements to suitably discharge the role on this three day course.

The course will provide support, guidance and practical skills regarding the role of the Principal Designer and the Design Risk Management process, including the legal requirements of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.

"I learnt so much during this 3 day course and the content was incredibly interesting."

Hannah Evans, Building Surveyor & previous IOSH course attendee commented: “I learnt so much during this 3 day course and the content was incredibly interesting. I now understand difference between the PD and CDM-A role and have a much better understanding of managing design risk and the importance of it (the impact it can have on people’s health). Its been very helpful to see how the PD works with the design team to identify hazards and mitigate risks”.

In recognition of this course’s success the Faithful+Gould team has been shortlisted for an award in the Health & Safety Innovation category at this year’s Association of Project Safety Awards taking place later this month.
