Project Assurance

John Wood
Can you accurately assess if your project is on track to deliver?

Construction projects are expected to deliver on time, within budget, to the required quality and in line with stakeholder objectives. Recession makes this even more important. Stakeholders are seeking complete confidence that the project can reach close within the agreed parameters. Faithful+Gould's Project Assurance services are designed to provide clients with this increased confidence and certainty.

Project Assurance is an independent health check on the project

  • validates that the project is on track to deliver the client's requirements

  • verifies that appropriate project controls processes are in place

  • provides assurance that all activities critical to successful delivery are on track

  • gives early identification of issues and risks that preclude successful delivery

  • allows timely mitigation of risks, so delivery is not impeded

Project assurance makes sense at any stage of the project lifecycle

  • ensures that the project is planned to succeed at inception, through comprehensive and accurate due diligence

  • identifies the correct solution during the feasibility and concept stages

  • ensures that appropriate project controls processes are in place right through the design, construction and operation and maintenance stages

The activities undertaken at these stages include

  • procurement strategy review

  • cost estimating and benchmarking

  • cost auditing

  • analysis

  • risk and value management

  • sustainable development consultancy

  • business process review
