One of the country’s leading regeneration experts will be making his mark on Exeter as he takes over the leadership of Faithful+Gould’s operation in the city.

Paul Davies, director and national head of regeneration for the project management and cost consultancy firm, will be taking the lead on various projects being run from the Exeter office in his new role.

Paul brings to his new position 20 years of experience in the field of property development, regeneration and construction. He became chartered in Bristol in the early 1990’s and has since spent many years working on large scale property and regeneration projects across the UK. This experience has included working in a variety of senior management positions for a FTSE 100 plc, a property developer and for the last five years for Faithful+Gould.

"Over the next two to three years we are looking to double the size of our operations in the region. Key to this vision is providing our clients with a professional service undertaken by talented professionals who have a passion for the industry." he said.

"We have been part of the community here now in Exeter for over six years and in that time we have provided services to the local community, both within the private and public sectors. We hope to continue improving this service to our clients in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset.

Clients served by the Exeter office of Faithful+Gould include the South West of England Regional Development Agency, leading UK banks, contractors, property developers, housing associations, the Environment Agency and Home Office Custodial Property, for which it is currently providing project management services on the expansion of facilities at Dartmoor Prison.

Paul, who has lived in the Dartmoor area for several years, said: "The region is seeing a great deal of redevelopment and regeneration at the moment, which is something that really inspires me. Cities such as Exeter and Plymouth are now seen as choice destinations for leading organisations. Faithful+Gould will continue to play a part in the development of the local built environment and economy to support such organisations."
