About the event
Faithful+Gould are delighted to again be supporting AUDE and having a presence in the Business School during the conference.
We have been supporting Manchester Metropolitan University for a number of years, initially in 2013 we were appointed to deliver their Backlog Maintenance and Condition Survey Programmes, carrying out fabric and M&E condition surveys and compliance audits to 50 buildings across their Crewe and Manchester City Campus sites. We now deliver our integrated multi-disciplinary services on key, individual major projects and multiple smaller minor works schemes, including efficient and effective delivery through multiple seconded staff acting as client side Project Managers.
Faithful+Gould have active projects in over 50% of the University sector and in over 90% of the Russell Group Universities. We are supporting the government in developing digital initiatives and working with a wide variety of education clients, implementing a digital approach that drives down the cost of asset management and capital project delivery, in support of better front-line outcomes. Come and have a chat with us about our award winning education projects, our comprehensive range of consultancy services and how we can help you through the procurement process and generate significant cost and business efficiencies.
The conference runs for 3 days and is a combination of site visits, networking opportunities and an engaging conference programme updating delegates on the current challenges and opportunities across Higher Education Estates and Services.
Speakers this year will include key figures from the Manchester area, Sir Howard Bernstein, Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell from The University of Manchester and Professor Malcolm Press from MMU discussing ‘World Class Partnerships between Cities and their Universities’.
What to expect
Faithful+Gould are also celebrating an anniversary this year. To mark our 70th year we have taken on a cycling challenge which will take us on a tour of all 26 of our offices in the UK & Europe. Our goal is to raise £70,000 for national charity the Alzheimer’s Society by covering the ambitious distance of 7,000 miles, and to complete the theme – we will do this all in 70 days.
On our stand at AUDE we will be holding a 70m Cycle Sprint Challenge, seeing entrants pedal a 70m distance on an exercise bike as fast as they can, the person with the fastest time at the end of Day 2 of the Conference (Tuesday 11th) will walk away with the yellow jersey!
