Faithful+Gould was appointed to provide cost management for Argent’s Brent Cross South Scheme, a £150M development creating a new mixed-use neighbourhood in North West London.
Faithful+Gould’s appointment covers the two large gateway plots of the new development, which will deliver 25,000m2 and 30,000m2 of commercial offices respectively. As well as state-of-the-art office accommodation, these plots will provide a link to the new Brent Cross West station and form one of the key entrances to the Brent Cross site.
This scheme has a higher level of complexity than a normal office scheme as it needs to integrate not only with the surrounding development but with the station itself. The proximity of the new offices to the station brings both challenges and opportunities, which if we address correctly can bring huge benefits to the community and overall development.
As cost managers, Faithful+Gould will bring commercial value to the scheme, dealing with site and market challenges to optimise viability, long term returns and highest quality design outcomes.
Brent Cross South is part of the London Borough of Barnet’s £4.5B regeneration scheme. Once complete, 50,000 people will live, work and study across the 190-acre site, with thousands more visiting each year.
