Faithful+Gould is providing Employers Agent and Quantity Surveying services for one of the first phases of the Gascoigne West project. The Development Company of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, Be First, has established a masterplan for regenerating the Gascoigne estate which involves the demolition and redevelopment of the existing housing stock to create over 1,500 new homes, approximately 40% of which are targeted as affordable housing.
A condensed programme features rapid design development phase: RIBA Stage 1 to start-on-site in one year, Faithful+Gould established early involvement of Main Contractor under a PCSA from RIBA Stage 2 onward. Acting as a single point of contact for Employers Agent, Quantity Surveying and Life Cycle Costing services, Faithful+Gould provided expertise relating to two stage design and build projects of similar cost, quality, and programme duration.
Faithful+Gould are subsequently now working across a range of their projects on the Gascoigne Estate and elsewhere in Barking, having formed a strong relationship with Be First.
