Little London, Beeston Hill & Holbeck Social Housing PFI Project

This Little London, Beeston Hill & Holbeck project in Leeds is one of the largest social housing private finance initiative (PFI) projects in the UK. Taking place across 22 sites, it involves the refurbishment of in excess of 1300 homes, design and construction of 388 new homes and ongoing maintenance of the estate and associated environmental improvements across a 20-year period. Faithful+Gould is providing technical due diligence, and construction and operational phase monitoring on the project.

Councillor Peter Gruen, Leeds City Council executive board member with responsibility for neighbourhoods, planning and support services said in 2013: “This project brings much needed benefits to three local inner city communities, with renovated and improved council housing, new energy efficient homes and improvement of the local environment. This is an exciting project for Leeds; it will be the largest single area regeneration investment in the area for many years, and one of the largest housing PFI projects in the country.”
